Meet the Owner

Hi my name is Mike Williams, owner and operator of Right Remodel llc. I was born in Wilmington and am a life long Delawarean. I have been remodeling fine homes in Newcastle county for over 20 years. From 2001 to 2012, I apprenticed under master carpenters with a small remodeling contractor. Having started as a helper for the owner of the company at 16 I was able to gain tons of valuable insight at a very young age. From writing estimates to project management and especially customer satisfaction.  Along with fine carpentry I learned all manners of home improvement, from basements to roofs, with a focus on kitchens and baths. I soon found I had a strong talent for detailed work like tile and trim carpentry.  From 2012 to 2018 I was employed as lead trim carpenter for a local custom home builder. We completed a lot of really interesting projects and I quickly became the go-to troubleshooter. I found my previous knowledge across many trades to be indispensable on high stakes custom projects. Especially bathrooms and kitchens, were many different components and fixtures must work together to serve the function and aesthetic of the room.     

 I founded Right Remodel in December 2018. I was very fortunate to hit the grounding running with a backlog of projects and clients from many years of "side jobs", combined with many new client referrals from word of mouth. We have become the go-to company to fill the niche between the average small home improvement outfit, and the high-end custom builders. I strive to provide the highest quality custom bathrooms, without the massive over head of high-end builders. Not to mention the hassle of dealing with layers of different tradespeople, sales reps, and the always absent managers. I am on-site everyday and perform much of the work myself.
